What God says about the abortion

After the homosexuality, I will develop now another topical subject : the abortion.

Before to go more into detail in the subject, it is necessary to remind certain points as for the creation.

In his perfect plan, God established the marriage : 'Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife : and they shall be one flesh.' (Genesis 2 : 24). This verse is also quoted in Matthew 19 : 5 and Ephesians 5 : 31. Several persons probably wonder why God established the marriage. The answer is also in His Word : 'And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it...' (Genesis 1 : 28), but also in Genesis 9 : 1 : 'And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.'. Therefore God ask to his People to make some children so that the last-mentioned praise him and serve him. Of course, we not born christian, we become it. That we are born in a christian family or not, it is God who give the life : 'And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; that they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from everyone of us : for in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, for we are also his offspring.' (Acts 17 : 26 - 28).

At the time the abortion was not common. Unfortunately since the 60's and particularly since the women wished to be freer, the things changed. They want now to have the choice to give the life as they wish and when they feel ready to be mother. That is why they use some means of contraceptive in order to prevent a non wished pregnancy. After the pill are arrived some other means of contraceptive, always more developed. In same time different practices of abortion arrived, as 'the pill of the next day', in the case where a woman had a relationship without protection and wont to be pregnant, and the RU486 who is a product intended to provoke an abortion when a woman discover a non wished pregnancy. Actually the things are going so far that the women ask to be able to abort always later, with their countries's authorities agreement.

In the majority of the european countries the abortion is legal until 12 weeks of pregnancy. In Switzerland a law is in discussion so that the abortion is authorized until 14 weeks. Unfortunately, in certain countries this practice is done secretly after the 12th week (if I not make a mistake 21 weeks in Holland and 22 weeks in Spain), what is really unacceptable. The majority of people pretend that the human embryo is not a child yet and that it not live as its heart not beat. But they make a mistake. We need to know that the abortion to practise only after 4 weeks or more of pregnancy, because before this delay the woman only rarely know that she is pregnant. It is precisely after the 5th week that the main organs to form; at 8 weeks the baby has a human shape and its heart beat. At 12 weeks, it has already its inner organs (heart, lungs, kidneys, liver and stomach) who normally work, its nails and its toes are already well formed, it is already very active, it is moving its toes, screw up the eyes, frown and open its mouth, it weigh around 30 grams (around 1 ounce) and measure more or less 8 centimetres (around 3 inches). As you can see, it is already a living being.

So, if a 8 weeks embryo has its heart who already beat, a woman who abort kill a living being, in a biblical view point, she is a murderer. In the ten commandment it says : 'Thou shalt not kill.' (Exodus 20 : 13, Deuteronomy 5 : 17). In the Bible, the murder is punishable. In Leviticus 24 : 21 we read : 'And he that killeth a beast, he shall restore it : and he that killeth a man, he shall be put to death.', as well as in Matthew 5 : 21, by our Lord Jesus Christ's mouth : 'Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment.'. God says in Ezekiel 13 : 19 : 'And will ye pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to gave the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hear your lies ?'.

There is one thing of which it need become conscious and which has its importance. As I said it above, we not born christian, but it is God which allow that a woman is pregnant, because maybe the child that she waits will become a Lord's servant. Contrary to what we think, it is God which form us inside the woman. God says us several times in His Word that is Himself who made us. First of all in Deuteronomy 32 : 6 : 'Do ye thus requite the Lord, O foolish people and unwise ? is not he thy father that hath bought thee ? Hath he not made thee, and established thee ?'. Job says : 'Thine hands have made me and fashioned me together round about; yet thou dost destroy me. Remember, I beseech thee, that thou hast made me as the clay; and wilt thou bring me into dust again ? Hast thou not poured me out as milk, and curdled me like cheese ? Thou hast clothed me with skin and flesh, and hast fenced me with bones and sinews. Thou hast granted me life and favour, and thy visitation hath preserved my spirit.' (Job 10 : 8 - 12), as well as : 'Did not he that made me in the womb make him ? and did not one fashion us in the womb ?' (Job 31 : 15). You can also read some similar verses in the Psalms, chapter 119, verse 73; in the chapter 139, verses 15 and 16 and in Jeremiah 1, verse 15. By these verses we very well see that it is God who make live or die and he tells it himself in Deuteronomy 32 : 39 : 'See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me : I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal : neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.'. In Daniel 5 : 21 we read : 'And he (Nebuchadnezzar) was driven from the sons of men; and his heart was made like the beasts, and his dwelling was with the wild asses : they fed him with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven; till he knew that the most high God ruled in the kingdom of men, and that he appointeth over it whomsoever he will.', as well as Malachi 2 : 10 : 'Have we not all one father ? hath not one God created us ? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers ?'. So, if God give the life, nobody has the right to do away with it, under any circumstances.

But, you will say, a woman who become pregnant as a result of a rape cannot and wont to give the life to a child. What I will say here is certainly hard to hear, but if a woman become pregnant as a result of a rape, it is all the same because God want that this child come into the world, for a reason that only him know. Perhabs that some people will come to tell me that I don't know what I say, but they make a mistake. I am not myself a rape sufferer, but I know the subject very well. God chosen me beforehand that my mother herself come into the world. Watch what God says in 1 Peter 2 : 9 - 10 : 'But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light; which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God : which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.'. If my mother had aborted, I would not became a God's servant and I would not be there to talk about this subject to you. Anyway I thanked my mother to not have aborted because it is thanks to her that I am there, happy to belong to the Lord. I don't deny the trauma of a raped woman, nor the one of her child if she allows that he/she come into the world, but everybody can to face the pain by the God's grace, one only has to rely on him, to confess its sins to him in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and He will support you in all things.

If a woman become pregnant and she wont to keep this child, the abortion, who is a murder, is from a distance not the solution. Before to go until this act, a woman should think to the ones who cannot have a child and who think of the adoption. Unfortunately most of the time the parents adopt some children abroad whereas if a woman not aborted it would have a child ready to be greet with love. I know that a lot say that an abortion is not traumatic for a woman, but it is completely wrong. I know someone who got an abortion there is around 20 years ago. Actually it is rare that she does not tell me that her child would be 20 years old this year if she had kept him/her. Same if her child is not born, he/she was in the God's plan and he/she is still in this woman's heart and thoughts.

In conclusion I would like to say to those women to well think before to take the decision to abort. The abortion is a crime in the God's eyes, because only him know the future of a child to be born. Watch what God says in Isaiah 66 : 9 : 'Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth ? saith the Lord : shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb ? saith thy God.'. Of course, the spontaneous abortions exist, but only God knows why He not allow, on rare occasions, to a child to come into the world. Not any woman have the right to decide in the God's place if a child must born or not. Watch again what God says : 'But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create : for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy. And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people : and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying. There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days : for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.' (Isaiah 65 : 18). Rather than to kill a child to be born, the woman shall rejoice to be able to give birth, whereas so many others have not this happiness. The birth is a joy : 'A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come : but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.' (John 16 : 21). In my opinion, it is preferable to think to the happiness to be mother, as well as the physical and psychological's consequences of an abortion rather than to think to the trauma caused by a non wished pregnancy.
